Job Summary:
Reporting to the Canadian Operations Manager in our Ancaster, ON facility, the Material Handler picks, packs, receives and ships new and customer-owned materials in support of our Canada Service Center and our Canadian distribution customer base. The incumbent works in a dynamic and fast-paced environment where self-reliance and accountability are critical to our success. All work is performed in accordance with our ISO 9001 quality manual and IATA dangerous goods handling regulations.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities:
· Interprets Return Material Authorization (RMA), Packing Lists, Delivery Notes, Bills of Lading and related documentation to identify materials to be picked for shipment and/or inducted into our ERP system for stock or service.
· Employs strict attention to detail while picking materials to ensure accurate order fulfillment.
· Selects and prepares packaging to accommodate each order with minimal waste while ensuring the preservation of contents during shipment.
· Operates the tools and equipment common to a warehousing/fulfillment center including, pallet jacks, floats/hand trucks, strapping/banding tensioners, box cutters, etc.
· Leverages out ERP system of record--SAP to receive, pick, pack, and ship orders with an awareness to time sensitive delivery requirements.
· Receives instruction on the proper identification, packaging and labelling of dangerous goods in accordance with IATA regulations.
· Supports physical inventory, cycle counts and receiving inspections as directed.
· Performs additional duties as directed.
Job Qualifications:
· Minimum of one year of warehouse/order fulfillment center experience is preferred.
· Familiarity in the use of a computer and MS office suite is required to complete work assignments.
· Experience in the use of SAP warehouse management module or similar enterprise resource planning system is a plus.
· Must be able to work from a standing position for up to eight hours per day.
· Position requires the ability to climb picking stairs and to lift objects of up to 40 lbs in weight.
· The qualified candidate will be punctual, reliable, and eager to learn new skills.

Salary: $25.00 per hour
