Best Brains of Vaughan, a learning centre, is currently hiring enthusiastic part time teachers to work with students ranging from 3-14 years old in Math and English. As a part time teacher, your responsibility is just teaching. No lesson plans to write or homework to grade. All teaching materials are provided. We provide consistent hours and competitive pay. This is year round position and you must be available all of the following days and times:
Tuesday 4:30pm -7:40pm
Thursday 4:30pm-7:40pm
Saturday 10:00am -1:10pm
Responsibilities:
- Teach and instruct with a teacher to student ratio of 1:4
- Monitor student progress and provide feedback to parents or guardians
- Ability to teach Primary/Intermediate/Secondary levels in Math and English
- Teachers must complete hours of observation and training
- Maintain a positive and supportive learning environment
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in education or related field (or currently pursuing)
- Previous experience working with children or tutoring
- Strong knowledge of Math and English
- Excellent communication skills
- Patience, empathy, and the ability to connect with students of different ages
