Math Tutor

Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Tutor to join our team. As a Tutor, you will be responsible for providing academic support and guidance to students in various subjects. This is a part-time position with flexible hours.

Duties:
- Conduct one-on-one tutoring sessions with students in subjects such as Math, Computer Science, and other requested subjects
- Create personalized lesson plans and teaching materials based on the individual needs of each student
- Assist students in understanding difficult concepts and improving their academic performance
- Utilize a variety of teaching methods and resources to enhance the learning experience
- Monitor student progress and provide regular feedback to parents or guardians
- Collaborate with teachers and parents to develop strategies for student success
- Maintain accurate records of tutoring sessions and student progress

Skills:
- Strong knowledge and expertise in the subject areas being tutored, including Math, Computer Science, and other requested subjects
- Experience working with children or students in an educational setting
- Ability to effectively communicate complex concepts in a clear and concise manner
- Patience and empathy when working with students who may be struggling academically
- Excellent organizational skills to track student progress and manage multiple tutoring sessions

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Education or related field (preferred)
- Previous tutoring or teaching experience is highly desirable
- Familiarity with computerized learning platforms is a plus
- Special education experience is an asset
