Science And Math Tutor For Highschool Aged Students

Responsibilities: Tutor students in Science & Math (both subjects) in grade levels from grade 9 to 12th grade Grade homework assignments, tests, and/or essays (no work is required outside of class time) Maintain student progress reports

Requirements -College (current enrolled or graduated) or higher majoring in Math, Science, education, or related field -Ability to follow instructions -Ability to work independently and teach the class on his/her own -Ability to deal with students in a caring and confident manner -Special consideration for those who want to be teachers

Candidates must have an understanding of the higher levels (grade 11 & 12) of both Math [Data Management, Functions, Calculus] and Science [Chemistry, Biology & Physics] and the Ontario Curriculum in which these subjects are taught with.

This is a independent contractor position; meaning you are responsible for reporting income to the government.

Job Type: Part-time

Salary: $20.00 per hour
