Responsibilities:
- Greet and register patients, collect and verify patient information
- Schedule appointments and manage the appointment flow board
- Answer phone calls, respond to inquiries or take messages
- Maintain patient records and update electronic medical records (EMR) system
- Sanitize rooms between patients
- Process tests ie strep tests, urinalysis
Experience:
- Previous experience working as an hospital registration clerk is preferred
- Preference will be given to candidates with Medical Office Certification
- Excellent command of the English language
- Good typing skills
- Familiarity with phone systems and front desk operations
- Knowledge of electronic medical records (EMR)
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
