LandlordBC is the industry leader for the residential rental housing industry and the one stop resource for owners and managers of rental housing in British Columbia. It is our mission to support rental housing providers and ensure they have the tools needed to supply safe and sustainable long term rental housing. LandlordBC prides itself on professionalizing the rental housing industry through education and support.

Who we are looking for:

We are seeking a highly motivated and energetic individual to join our small but mighty team of passionate rental housing Member Services Representative. While experience in the rental housing industry is a plus it is not necessary as we offer extensive on the job training

Qualifications:

  • · Previous experience in customer service is required.
  • · Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • · Strong problem-solving skills.
  • · Experience with Office 365.
  • · Previous sales experience an asset.
  • · Positive and friendly attitude.
  • Enjoy working as part of a vibrant team.

The Role:

LandlordBC is a membership driven, not for profit, industry association. One of our key deliverables is a legislative helpline to assist rental housing providers in understanding and complying with Provincial statutes. As a Member Services Representative, you will, with a robust set of tools and supports, provide members with guidance to ensure they are providing safe and sustainable long term rental housing. Training on the Residential Tenancy Act and other applicable legislative will be provided.

This position is full-time and our regular business hours are M to F, 8:30am to 4:30pm. Occasional evening work and travel within the province may be required.

Responsibilities

· Liaising with members via phone and email as part of our front-line customer service team.

· Providing support and education to our members via our legislative helpline.

· Administrative duties such as preparing mail, filling orders, and other light clerical duties.

· Assisting at LandlordBC association events.

· Data entry and related tasks.

· Other duties may be assigned as required.
