Neighbourly Pharmacy is looking for a Merchandise Clerk/Pharmacy Assistant to join our Nipawin, SK location at Pharmasave #402 Nipawin.
Job Description:
--The Merchandise Clerk/Pharmacy Assistant will assist the Pharmacy Manager and Front Store Manager with the day-to-day operations. This position will be responsible for coordinating the receiving, marking, and paperwork for all incoming orders.
--The pharmacy assistant must always be under the supervision of a pharmacist. All dispensing functions performed by a pharmacy assistant must be carried out following provincial regulations and standards of practice.
--The Merchandise Clerk/Pharmacy Assistant will collaborate with others to provide a smooth customer experience and help promote the store throughout the neighbourhood.
--40 hours per week.
--The usual shifts will be Monday to Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Qualifications & Skills:
--Some merchandising and retail experience is preferred.
--Previous shipping and receiving experience are an asset.
--Retail Pharmacy experience is an asset.
--Strong computer and POS skills.
--Physically capable of performing the jobs essential duties and lifting to 50 lbs.
--Pulling, Packing, and Loading. (Heavy Lifting).
--The successful candidate must be able to handle cash with accuracy.
--Ability to function for an extended period while standing.
--Ability to communicate clearly and courteously with customers.
--Excellent product or service knowledge.
--The successful candidate must be able to handle cash with accuracy.
--Due to this position's sensitive nature, the successful candidate must provide us with a Criminal Record Check.
