SalaryI’m helping a great family search for their new nanny.
The family is located in Stratford. You would be working for a single father who has shared custody. The children are 4 and 8. They are very fun and loving kids.
The position pays $17-$20 per hour depending on your experience and is an average for 70 hours per month. He will provide your schedule a month in advance. The custody arrangement involves him having the children either 2 or 3 days per week, and every other weekend. Weekend help isn’t typically needed. Most days are 6-8 hours. Some days may extend until 11 pm.
You must have First Aid training. If you don’t already have it he is willing to pay for you to attain it.
You must be dependable, trustworthy and have experience working with children. He is looking for someone who will nurture, mentor and be proactive in helping take care of his kids and their needs.
Please be responsive to texts and emails.
A reliable car and a good driving record are required as the position involves school pick ups and occasional drop offs, taking the kids to and from their activities, and occasionally errands. He will compensate for mileage and gas, and you will only be required to drive short distances.
Your duties will include doing the children’s laundry (their clothes and bedding), making simple but nutritious home cooked meals, helping with homework, planning and engaging in constructive activities, such as indoor and outdoor play and crafts, schedule play dates, bathe the kids, get them to bed, etc.
Speaking a second language and/or having musical skills are a plus.
