Nanny/Caregiver

Role Overview:

We are seeking a reliable and experienced Babysitter/Nanny to join our family who is passionate about children, child development, psychology, childcare and can also handle household duties. As a Babysitter/Nanny, you will be responsible for providing exceptional care for our children and ensuring their safety and well-being. If you are excited about becoming a part of your family's support system in creating a positive and enriching experience for little one, we should speak.

The child is a toddler. Looking for someone who can speak English, French and Lebanese/Arabic and other language would be nice to have. Activities include language learning, reading, arts, crafts, going for walks, enjoying nature, everyday activities around the house like preparing lunch or baking and other fun things; and light housekeeping, meal preparation, pet care.

You should be comfortable in sleep training, potty training and no screen time throughout the day, Montessori methods when possible… and pets (bird and a dog).

Responsibilities:
- Supervise and monitor the safety of children in your care
- Engage children in age-appropriate activities and play
- Prepare and serve meals and snacks to children
- Assist with educational activities
- Maintain a clean and organized environment for the children
- Ensure children follow daily routines and schedules
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's day

Requirements:
- Previous experience caring for children
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Excellent problem-solving abilities
- Knowledge of basic first aid and CPR

- post secondary education would be an advantage
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation

Skills:
- Meal preparation: Ability to prepare nutritious meals and snacks for children
- Clean: Ability to maintain a clean and organized environment for the children
- Caregiving: Experience providing care for children, including bathing, dressing, and diaper changing
- Educate: Ability to assist with homework and educational activities for children
- Cook: Knowledge of cooking meals that meet dietary restrictions or preferences of the children
- Experience with children: Previous experience caring for children of various ages
