NWP Industries LP is hiring an on site full-time Network Administrator. The main responsibilities of this position would include:
- Maintain backup of all key system files
- Maintain, repair and replace computer hardware
- Manage and update software and licenses and ensure legal use of software
- Keep Network connections active company wide
- Evaluate new technologies and determine any benefits to the company
- Assist users with system anomalies
- Create/provide training documentation and/or classes if needed about computer systems
- Create and maintain documentation of current network topology
- Website hosting and wordpress management
- ERP administration including, date base administration, crystal report writing and application support
- Linux knowledge is an asset
Beyond the tasks above there are robotic machines in the shop that from time to time may require troubleshooting as well. Opportunity for additional responsibilities at different locations remotely and may as necessary require travel.
Qualifications:
- Great oral and written communication and interpersonal skills.
- Be able to self-manage their time to work independently through tasks.
- Demonstrate great problem solving skills
- Able to research to adapt and learn.
- Diploma or Degree in Computer Science or information Technology
- A minimum of 5 years’ experience in Network and System Administration
- Willing to mentor and train the right candidate who has less experience or is a recent graduate.
