The proposed Resource candidate will preferably have the following skills listed below:
Proven expertise in Layer 3 Spine and Leaf data center networks using VXLAN with BGP EVPN.
Mastery in BGP and OSPF protocols.
Extensive hands-on experience with Cisco switches, routers, firewalls, WLAN Controllers, and WAPs.
Command-line proficiency with Cisco IOS, ASA, IOS-XE, and NX-OS.
Strong understanding and application of Cisco Remote Access and L2L VPN Technologies.
Familiarity with Cisco Prime Infrastructure Version 3 or higher.
Proficiency in configuring and administering load balancers.
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Azure - IaaS.
In-depth understanding and application of network security best practices.
Track record of implementing network technologies for organizational technology projects.
Proficiency in managing next-generation firewalls, including Fortinet, and other advanced firewall technologies.
Collaboration skills within multi-disciplinary project teams.
Understanding of enterprise-level networks and seamless integration between on-premises and cloud environments.
Additional expertise in OCI (Oracle Cloud Infrastructure) and AWS (Amazon Web Services) cloud environments.
Additional expertise with LTE and satellite technologies
Experience in ITIL, Change Management

Typical activities in this role include:
Administer, implement, troubleshoot, and document enterprise network, ensuring its smooth operation and documentation.
Develop plans for network device development, aligning them with present and future requirements and industry standards.
Provide expert technical support, administration, and engineering for all SaskEnergy network devices, ensuring optimal functionality.
Monitor, fine-tune performance, troubleshoot, and resolve system issues promptly to maintain high system availability.
Oversee network disaster recovery, including planning, implementation, maintenance and rigorous testing
