Our dealer group is looking to add a high performing Sales Manager to our team! As a leader on our Management team, you will be responsible for many aspects of the success of the new and used Sales Departments including but not limited to, meeting or exceeding sales objectives, inventory management, expanding and retaining clients, coaching and motivating Sales staff, and more.
Responsibilities and duties will include, but are not limited to:
- Managing a team of sales representatives providing guidance and support
- Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve company and OEM goals
- Monitor sales performance and provide regular reports to upper management
- Build and maintain relationships with clients, employees, OEM and other representatives
- Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities
- Stay current and up-to-date on industry market trends, activities, and conditions
- Train and onboard new sales team members
- Collaborate with marketing department to develop promotional materials and campaigns
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and competitor activities
- Lead, mentor, and motivate our Sales team to achieve sales objectives while delivering a exceptional customer experience
- Enforce and execute sales processes set out by management team
Qualifications:
- Must be OMVIC certified
- Valid G Class Ontario drivers license
- Proven track record in Sales Management with 2 years or more of experience
- Domestic OEM experience an asset
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to provide the best possible experience
- Self motivated with high attention to detail
- Knowledge of dealership operations and retail sales processes
- Proficient in math for analyzing sales data and forecasting
- Go-getter mentality with continuous innovation and skill development
