Job Description: The Home Care nurse provides nursing services as assigned in accordance with the current Home Care Nursing Manual and SRNA Practice
Standards.
Education:
- Current registration with Saskatchewan Registered Nurses Association
- Possess current CPR certification
- Minimum of 2 years related experience in community or geriatric nursing preferred
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Demonstrate empathy, concern and interest in providing quality care for all Home Care clients
- Must possess effective communication skills and the ability to relate to all individuals
- Ability to deal with clients in their homes and adapt to frequent changes
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Demonstration of efficiency and a calm manner in providing nursing services
- Be physically fit and able to perform duties as outlined
Other Northern Incentives as per SUN Collective Agreement are prorated:
