Description
The firm is looking for an optimistic, dependable, friendly Office Admin / Legal Assistant with a positive attitude to fill a full-time position as soon as possible.
Applicants to be considered need to be well organized, attentive to written and oral instruction, motivated to work independently, display initiative to learn, possess excellent verbal communication skills, have the ability to multi-task, and are friendly and polite. Excellent typing skills, knowledge of computer technology and the ability to adapt to new software are required. Experience with Microsoft office programs is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Manage day to day operations when required such as managing office supplies, process payables, receipting and disbursing funds, supporting staff and ensuring the office runs efficiently
- Scheduling and managing appointments
- preparing and formatting court documents, letters and other legal documentation
- Record keeping tasks
- Perform a variety of other administrative and clerical tasks.
Qualifications
- Experience in Office Administration
- Moderate typing skills
- Ability to learn and adapt to new computer software
- Experience with Microsoft office programs
