Full-time Permanent Office Administrator
Nu-Tech Metals is looking for a self-starting, enthusiastic individual to fill the position of Office Administrator. The successful candidate will have experience in bookkeeping and work with minimal supervision. Please submit your resume to nutech@tbaytel.net to apply for this position.
Responsibilities include:
· Solid understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting payable/receivable principles.
· Proven ability to calculate, post and manage accounting figures and financial records.
· Data entry skills.
· Ability to multi-task.
· Hands-on experience with spreadsheets and proprietary software (Sage 50, proficient with Microsoft Office, especially Excel).
· Exemplary customer service skills.
· High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
Payroll processing:
· Proofing of weekly timecards.
· Processing payroll through Sage 50.
· Submitting payment via EFT through online banking system.
· Allocation of hours into job sheets.
Accounts Payables:
· Proofing and posting of supplier invoices.
· Monthly payables cheque run.
Accounts Receivables:
· Weekly invoicing of Customer accounts.
· Posting of Customer payments via cheque, EFT, etc.
· Collection of past due accounts.
Monthly Remittances:
· Calculation and submission of EHT, WSIB, HST, Source Deductions, etc.
· Calculation of Union remittances.
Compensation: Will be determined on Experience
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $25.00-$30.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
