We are seeking someone to join our office team. We have multiple locations and are in need of a trustworthy, problem-solving individual who can help keep our mechanics busy and our inventory organized.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee daily operations of the office
- Answer phone calls, respond to inquiries, and direct calls to appropriate staff members
- Manage the parts department and oversee all aspects of parts inventory, procurement, and distribution
- Maintain or implement effective inventory catalogue to ensure optimal organization
- Procure parts from various suppliers, ensuring timely delivery and competitive pricing
- Coordinate with other departments to fulfill parts requests and ensure timely repairs and maintenance
- Oversee the operation of a forklift for safe and efficient movement of parts within the location (not mandatory)
- Maintain accurate records of parts transactions, including receipts, returns, and adjustments
Helpful Qualities
- Clerical skills, including typing, filing, and record keeping
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- A class 5 license
Job Types: Full-time, Seasonal
Contract length: 7 months
Salary: $25.00-$30.00 per hour
