About Us: Hadden & Associates Inc. is a private practice in psychology, located in the Southwest community of Killarney. We operate out of Sanctuary Professional Offices, which is a professional building that houses a number of private mental health and wellness practices.
About the Role: The Office Assistant, reporting to the Office Manager, supports the practice by assisting with file management and other as-needed administrative tasks.
Responsibilities:
- Creation of physical files (typing and assembly)
- Scanning, logging, and saving expired files to our secure cloud-based file system
- Logging and shredding expired files
- Updating and/or producing invoices using QuickBooks
- Faxing documents and invoices
- Additional clerical/administrative duties as may be required by the Office Manager and/or owner
Requirements:
- Strong processing speed
- Proficiency in English; speaking, reading, writing, and grammar
- Adept at using Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Word, Excel, and OneDrive
- Must comply with and maintain all confidentiality requirements regarding invoicing, documents, files, communications, etc., as all contain confidential information.
- Good attention to detail
- Punctual, efficient, organized
- Pleasant, professional manner
- Willingness to learn
- Ability to proofread letters and reports an asset
Job Type: Part-time
Salary: $16.00-$18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 4 – 8 per week
