Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee daily office operations
- Maintain office supplies and equipment inventory
- Assist with human resources tasks such as onboarding and employee records management
- Handle office communications, including phone systems and email correspondence
- Manage office budgeting and expense tracking
- Process payroll and maintain accurate employee records 35 employees for biweekly payroll
- Handle all government remittances GST, Corp Tax, WCB and Payroll Taxes
-Ability to issue t4's ROEs
-Ability to progress monthly invoices for all subtrades and supplier invoices
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an office manager or in a similar role
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Proficient in using office software such as Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Knowledge of Sage50 or other accounting software
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Familiarity with human resources practices and procedures
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
