DUTIES:
We are seeking an experienced and organized Office Manager to join our team. This position is for maternity leave coverage with the possibility to extend after 12 months. As an Office Manager at Alpine Scaffolding, you will be responsible for overseeing all in-office requirements ensuring smooth functioning. Your role will involve a variety of administrative and clerical tasks, as well as payroll, client invoicing, employee inductions, implementing and maintaining office procedures, training development, and more.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manage office operations and ensure efficient workflow
-Oversee financial data and compliance by maintaining accurate books on accounts payable and receivable, payroll, and daily financial entries and reconciliations.
- Human resources; inductions, confidentiality, and contracts
- Coordinate and schedule appointments and meetings
- Maintain office supplies inventory and place orders when necessary
- Handle incoming and outgoing correspondence
- Assist with budgeting and financial management
- Maintain organized filing systems for documents and records
SKILLS:
- Strong administrative skills with proficiency in-office procedures
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities
- Attention to detail and accuracy in completing tasks
- Proficient in using office software such as Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Experience with QuickBooks or other accounting software is a plus
- Strong independent worker
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
