Job Description
The Kids Fun Factory indoor playground is looking for an energetic, polite, and organized person to fill the position of Operations Manager to ensure all daily activities run smoothly and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify, develop and monitor the team to drive store performance and ensure daily tasks are successfully executed
- Maintain safety and cleanliness standards for all areas of the playground
- Manage inventory to reduce waste and keep expenses in-line
- Execute the store’s marketing plan, including digital and social media marketing strategies
- Collaborate with the General Management (GM) to establish priorities and develop initiatives for improving stores’ Key Performance Indicators to increase store profits and minimize and control costs
- Oversee and manage all areas of the playground and make decisions on matters of importance to guest service
- Adhere to company standards and service levels to increase sales and minimize costs
- Keep the GM promptly and fully informed of all issues and takes prompt corrective action where necessary
- Oversee staff performance, shifts schedule and training of new employees
- Complete job responsibilities and performance objectives in a timely and effective manner and in accordance with the company policies and procedures.
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as required or requested by the GM
PERSONAL REQUIREMENTS
- High school diploma required.
- 1-3 years Assistant Manager experience in a customer service-focused industry, preferably family entertainment, food service, retail or childcare
- Customer service obsessed
- Leadership ability and outgoing
- Pleasant, polite manner and a neat and clean appearance.
- Must be able to handle the pressures of coordinating a wide range of activities
- Must have good communication skills
- Ability to coordinate multiple tasks
- You should also be available to work within opening hours, evenings, weekends and holidays
- A solution-oriented, enthusiastic optimist
- Experience working with kids and motivating teens
Experience:
- customer service: 1 year
- retail management: 1 year
Licence:
- Food Handler certified
- First aid & CPR certified

Salary: From $17.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 10 per week
