As an Operations Analyst, you will provide business and financial analysis and reporting in support of operations in Facilities. Primary duties include:
- Identify anomalies in reported financial data, investigate to determine the causes of the problems and correct errors.
- Provide input, validate and repots to Finance the costs incurred by business unit customers and coordinate cost recovery through Finance.
- Draft financial and other reports such as addendum information and summaries in support of financial reporting and to substantiate assumptions made in collecting and reporting data and monthly, quarterly, and annuals reports.
- Perform financial analysis and summarize data such as types of service work orders, credit card spending and costs charged to reference numbers.
Qualifications
- A completed 2 year diploma in Business Administration or a related field with at least 3 years of business operations experience in a corporate environment.; OR
- A degree in Commerce or Business Administration with at least 1 year of business operations experience in a corporate environment.
- Experience with Excel spreadsheet management, FSCM, and APWorkflow are required.
- Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) is required.
- Experience with SAP Business Objects (or equivalent) is an asset.
- Experience in developing and tracking key performance indicators is an asset.
- Procurement experience including creating and managing requisitions is an asset.
- Success in this position requires the ability to think analytically with demonstrated problem solving skills, strong communication, organizational and interpersonal skills, and the ability to learn new systems quickly.
