Operations Coordinator

Fort St. John Co-op is hiring an Operations Coordinator for the C-Store Division in Fort St. John, BC.

What you’ll do:

You will provide support to the Co-op Convenience and Gas Bar leadership in the North Peace and Northern Rockies Regional areas, by:

• Tracking, documenting, and reporting on programs and product launches
• Working to improve the customer experience at C-Store locations
• Conducting marketing research to ensure relevance in a competitive landscape
• Centralizing buying efforts to improve profitability and margin potential
• Providing training and resource support to front line teams
• Developing programs and guidelines that streamline product placement
• Harnessing and nurturing relationships to drive a progressive direction to the division
• Representing our corporate values of Integrity, Commitment, Responsibility

Who you are:

You are looking for a career in Retail Store Operations and:

• You have strong Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint Skills
• You are a highly organized individual and are adept at managing intricate details in a fast-paced environment
• You possess exceptional analytical, problem solving, and decision-making skills with a high attention to strict deadlines
• You are an excellent communicator, including in written, verbal and typed, with an interpersonal mindset
• You have strong project planning skills, including in time management, execution, and reporting
• You have relevant post secondary education or a combination of 3 to 6 years of previous experience in a similar role or retail environment
• You are committed to safety in the workplace and will contribute to continuous improvement

Our Team Members receive competitive salaries, a comprehensive benefits package, and an employer-contributed pension plan. The range for this position is $55,244 - $69,055 annually. Starting wage will be commensurate with education and experience.

This position requires the incumbent to be able to reliably commute or be willing to relocate with an employer-assisted relocation package.
