Order Desk Clerk

We are looking for seasonal employees to fill our Order Desk Clerk position. You will be required to assist customers with all of their shopping needs. You will be responding to customer inquiries and will support them throughout their shopping experience. Duties include processing customer sales and returns by operating a cash register, and assisting other team members as needed. This position reports to the Store Manager.

Our peak season is between April - December. Our store is open Monday - Friday from 7am-5pm and Saturday from 7:30am-12pm. We are looking to fill two part-time positions, hours ranging from 20-35 hours per week. Saturday is a mandatory alternating shift.

Your role:

• Assist customers in purchases, upselling and product recommendation
• Daily banking reconciliation
• Invoicing and filing, monthly statements
• Complete all other duties as assigned

The qualifications we are looking for:

• At least 6 months of experience using a computer, including inputting, accessing, modifying, or outputting information
• At least 6 months of experience identifying and selling products based on customer needs, including credit cards, installations, add-on sales, and explaining warranties, product features, and benefits
• At least 6 months of retail experience
• At least 6 months of experience as a cashier
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds without assistance; may lift up to 30 pounds with or without assistance

Salary: $18.00-$20.00 per hour
