Order Desk Clerk

Job Summary:
We are seeking a friendly and customer-oriented Order Desk Clerk to join our team. As an Order Desk Clerk, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, a willingness to learn and adapt, and a proficiency and comfort level with computers. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, is detail oriented, be able to work well under pressure, and have experience in data entry and sales.

Duties:
- Answering phone calls and emails from customers, providing them with their ideal appliance solutions
- Input and print orders into our computer software system (Prophet 21)
- Create packing slips for orders being delivered the next day
- Assist with project management tasks
- Follow up with customers to make sure orders have been delivered and received successfully
- Be able to identify brands and models of appliances to suggest to customers
- Assist with any tasks assigned with regards to appliance sales
- Maintain an of awareness of stock levels and pricing
- Maintain a clean and organized front desk area

Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in customer service
- Proficient in data entry and computer skills
- Strong analytical skills to handle customer requests effectively
- Excellent communication skills with a professional phone etiquette
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: $40,000.00-$48,000.00 per year
