Position: Outpatient Clerk

Schedule: Days [7.5 Hr./mixed shifts]
Hourly Rate: $22.79 - $24.43 (rate effective 29-Sept-22)

Qualifications:
- Graduate of a 2-year medical secretarial program or equivalent experience.
- Completion of a medical terminology course is required or equivalent experience in a medical office environment where medical terminology is used.
- Experience with Meditech is preferred.
- Demonstrated typing and computer skills specifically MS Word and Excel.
- Must be able to manage priorities and cope with frequent interruptions.
- Demonstrated ability to have a strong attention to detail and accuracy to perform detailed file audits.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, to speak with patients in a sensitive and empathetic manner.
- Ability to work independently with minimum of supervision.
- Scheduling experience preferred.
- Familiarity with medical terms and records required.
