Outside Sales Representative

Liftex Equipment Rentals Inc. has grown to service Edmonton, Calgary, Kelowna, Vancouver areas. We've become one of the largest private equipment rental companies in Western Canada.

We are looking to fill the position - Outside sales Rep

To be compatible with this position, an applicant must share a positive, "can-do" attitude, a strong work ethic, and must be prepared to support our demanding and passionate clientele, while growing the business.

Three to five years (minimum) of applicable high-energy, high-demand direct customer service / sales experience is likely needed to become successful. A business degree or continuing education that includes Management, Marketing, Communications.

Experience relating to construction equipment and/or the construction industry is a strong asset.

A successful applicant will already reside in the Kelowna area.

This position is full time and permanent. The position is paid a base salary plus a commission on personal rental revenue created. All typical benefits are included. The Outside Sales Rep reports directly to the Branch Manager and is expected to be largely self-managing. Liftex Equipment specializes in "High Reach" (telehandlers, scissor lifts, boom lifts, materials handling) equipment.

While product line familiarization and ongoing support are available - this is a position for someone knows how to sell and how to provide exceptional customer service.

The candidate will have to be able to work with a wide range of personality types and satisfy our broad, demanding customer base with exceptional customer service skills. As a long-established operation, our supporting shop and field positions are fully-staffed.
