Southern Alberta Self-Help Association (SASHA) is a non-profit community organization that promotes the independence of adults with mental illness by means of supportive housing, programs, and activities. SASHA operates out of 5 group homes in Lethbridge. 4 houses encompass our Residential Program which is recovery focused, teaching/encouraging independent living skills, and participants have required programming.

1 house is our PSH (Permanent Supportive Housing) program where participants do not have required programming, are able to live in active addiction, and staff provide supports to participants that they choose. Both programs use a client-centred approach and meet the participants where they are at. SASHA supports clients in becoming contributing members of our community. We help prepare them, often recently discharged from the hospital or treatment, to re-integrate into the community.
