We are currently accepting applications for the position of Part Time Customer Service Associate/Cashier at our Portage la Prairie Branch. This position will be scheduled for 16 – 20 hours a week and will include weekend shifts.

Part Time Customer Service Associate/Cashier – Portage la Prairie Branch

Get ready to build your career as we continue to build our company. As a valuable member of our team your duties will include:

• Guides customers through their purchase process in a friendly and knowledgeable manner
• Accurately records sales transactions and process payments into point of sales system
• Assists with merchandising and restocking materials as required
• Answers phone calls and redirects calls appropriately
• Assists in the Paint Department as required

The successful candidate will:

• Show a commitment to delivering outstanding Customer Service
• Communicates with coworkers, customers and vendors by phone and in person in a friendly and timely manner
• Have great organizational & time management skills
• The ability to work in a fast paced team environment is essential
• Previous experience is preferred and knowledge of lumber and building materials is an asset but not required
• Be available to work a variety of shifts including weekends.
