We are looking for a qualified Parts Coordinator to join our team. The Parts Coordinator’s primary responsibility and accountability is to manage the process of ordering, receiving, storing, dispatching and returning parts for each repair order.
Role and Requirements
- Order all parts as indicated on the repair orders
- Receive all parts delivered, confirming the quality, correctness and quantity of parts received
- Accurately identify parts necessary to complete repairs in the shop
- Enter all parts into the recommended Management Information System (MIS)
- Properly return parts for credit to the appropriate supplier
- Manage vendor agreements when necessary
- Maintain a clean and organized parts area
- Communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing
- Strong attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy
- Effectively manage a fast-paced environment, demonstrating multitasking ability
- Customer Service Oriented and strong organizational skills
- Frequently required to bend, crouch, reach, handle tools and lift in excess of 50lbs of materials
- Pulls and fills orders from stock.
- Ordering of out-of-stock parts or shop materials that needed
- Notifies the shop when all parts have arrived
- Makes sure all internal requests for parts are billed on service repair order.
- Issues and tracks requested shop tools to technicians.
- Keeps current on new products and product updates.
Qualifications
- At least 1 year previous experience working with commercial trucks(Required)
- English (Required)
- Driver's License (Required)
Salary will be based on Experience.
