L&C offers intricate desserts and baked goods all made from scratch in Nelson, BC. Our products are made with French “savoir-faire” (know-how) ensuring the superior taste only traditional made-by-hand methods can provide. We aim to highlight our passion for food by making each eating experience an inspiring palate discovery.
Our dynamic and passionate team is growing and we’re looking for a Pastry Chef / Baker to join us! This position requires a great organization and availability in the mornings. A successful candidate must be hardworking, reliable, eager to learn, fast and possess great attitude.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Responsible for the morning baking - independently
- Working alongside Chef Cyrielle to produce the highest quality of products by complying with L&C French Bakery recipe book
- Work collaboratively with all departments with open communication
- Production, finishing and display of a variety of pastries, desserts etc. as per company standards
- Follow health and safety regulations for food preparation
- Provide our team members and/or guests with thorough knowledge about all our menu items when needed
Work schedule:
- 16 to 40 hours/ week
- Days off: Sunday-Monday
The candidate must have a secured accommodation in Nelson or nearby.
Valid work visa required with at least 1 year remaining. We are looking for a long term candidate.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Salary: $18.00-$21.00 per hour
