What you will be doing as a Payroll and Benefits Coordinator
- Administer and work in conjunction with shared services for Payroll and employee benefit plans (80 hourly / 20 salaried)
- Providing support to HR Manager in the areas of company policies, government requirements, training, etc
- Work closely with HR Department, supporting day-to-day administration tasks including but not limited to onboarding, employee relations issues, time and attendance tracking, etc
- Fostering corporate culture to uphold the highest ethics and integrity
What you should have as a Payroll and Benefits Coordinator
- Minimum 3+ years of Canadian payroll experience and benefit administration
- Demonstrated customer service focus
- Post-secondary completion of a relevant Business Diploma (an asset) or equivalent experience
- Completion (or in process of) PCP or CPM certification (an asset)
- In depth knowledge of provincial employment standards and legislation
- Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Experience with Workforce or Dayforce payroll systems (an asset)
- Strong technology aptitude and experience working with propriet Collingary data base systems
- Ability to work independently and as a team player in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision
What you will receive as a Payroll and Benefits Coordinator:
- $60,000 - $72,000 / year (DOE)
