Personal Care Assistant

Duties:
- Provide Personal Care assistance to Elisabeth including physio therapy and exercise, walks outdoors. She loves to be active, but has challenges with her balance and uses a walker for stability.
- Elisabeth has some communication challenges since she is hard of hearing but loves to talk and is seeking companionship. She is able to take care of her own grooming and Personal Care at the moment, but occasionally some assistance is required.

Andrew is very independant but sometimes forgetful, but needs very little support. He plays pickleball and golf and is often out of the house, so a care worker is needed for Elisabeth.
- Prepare and serve meals according to dietary restrictions and preferences.
- Administer medications as prescribed and ensure proper documentation.
- Assist with light housekeeping tasks, including cleaning and organizing living spaces.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.
- Accompany clients to appointments or outings as needed

Vehicle is available for use.

Driver’s license and driving experience not essential, but an asset

Experience:
- Previous experience in senior care, patient care, or home care is preferred.
- Familiarity with assisted living facilities, nursing homes, or hospice care is a plus.
- Knowledge of medication administration procedures is beneficial.
- Compassionate and patient demeanor when working with individuals in need.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: From $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
