24 hours per week - Fredericton area - 1 Client
· $17.70 per hour + paid kilometers
· Position to start: January 2023
· Hours of work: Monday, Wednesday & Friday 8:00am-4:00pm
· Description:
Assist male adult who is blind, with access for appropriate needs such as socialization, outings, meal prep, errands, community with various activities, etc. The proper candidate must be able to take initiative and have good judgement and be client focused. Being an Intervenor requires a degree of creativity to assist the Consumer in completing activities of daily life and maneuvering the outside environment. Communication skills are vital, as well as problem solving.
The following are required for hiring:
· Completion of high school + additional experience in PSW or child care is ideal
· Criminal record check cleared for vulnerable sector, Child Abuse Registry check
· Vehicle with valid Drivers License
· First Aid and CPR certificates
· Writing and document use
