Global Health Management (GHM) Canada is a growing Canadian Health Care company located in Calgary with an expanding client portfolio that is seeking to add an experienced Data Entry/Pharmacy Assistant to our present outstanding staff. The position is a part time role where you will work 20 hours per week.
The selected individual must have impeccable telephone manners and be comfortable speaking with Doctor’s offices to verify information. You must live in Calgary to be considered for this position. You must be computer literate and be able to work in an Office environment where you use Outlook, be proficient in Excel, and use a Windows laptop. Applicants must be English speaking.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Knowledge/Skills: Computer, math, and member service skills preferred
- Previous pharmacy experience preferred and will be given preference over other candidates.
- Working knowledge of Pharmacy terms and medication names
- Will be required to take a short general pharmacy knowledge quiz
- Knowledge of medical terminology is a plus
- English Proficiency required
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel)
- Must be internet savvy
- Organized with the ability to multi-task and maintain accuracy; strong attention to detail
- Can handle frequent interruptions
- Excellent communication, customer service and interpersonal skills;
- Excellent problem-solving skills; ability to resolve issues effectively and efficiently
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment

- Comfortable performing outbound and/ or receiving inbound calls
Responsibilities
Specific duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Pricing analysis
- Order entry
- Perform routine clerical duties such as filing, copying, faxing, etc.
- Booking and scheduling appointments for pharmacist consultations and follow-ups
- Communicating with clients, physicians, and other pharmacy staff
- Outbound / inbound calls
- Data entry of patient health information
- Updating patient profiles and entering prescription information into pharmacy software
- Using Excel you will construct price quotes for clients under the direction of the CEO. Timeliness and accuracy are critical to this task

Salary: $25.00 per hour
