Pipe Layer

Bear Paw Earthworks is a family owned and operated company that has been operating in the Okanagan since 1972. We are seeking an experienced Pipe Layer to work in the Northern Okanagan area who will lead their crew in the installation of Water, Sani and storm utilities as well as installation of shallows

Responsibilities

• Follow and promote Bear Paws safety program
• Installation of pipe, precast, shallows
• Prepare and grade trenches
• Ensure all work is completing in accordance to drawings and specs
• Tracking and communicating all job progress daily
• Maintain tool inventory

Qualifications

• Related experience is required
• At least 2 years experience in a pipe fitter role
• Must be able to read and interpret plans and specifications
• Safety orientated
• Valid drivers license and own means of transportation
• Be physically fit and able to lift up to 50 lbs
• Must be local to the Northern Okanagan
• Knowledge on using Topcon/survey equipment an asset

Please note this position is hiring for a spring start up.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: From $32.00 per hour
