Post Sentence Support Worker

Battlefords Tribal Council Justice Program is looking for a Community minded individual to help develop and implement the Post Sentence Support Program.
The Post Sentence Support worker supports at the Post Sentence stage to assist individuals in successfully completing the recommendations/healing plans included in their Post Sentence reports. The Post SentenceSupport Worker will also directly support the offenders in meeting the terms of their sentence, as well support them in addressing root causes of their offending and reduce the risk of reoffending.
Skills and Abilities:
Innovation, impartial, conflict resolution, problem solving, strong verbal and written communication skills, critical thinking, self starter, works well independently and in a team environment.
Experience in the human service field and/or knowledge of Gladue Reports are an asset.
