Power Engineer- Co-op
Adecco is currently recruiting for a Power Engineer- Co-op. This is a 4-month term fully on-site opportunity with our client based out of Chalk River, ON. The successful candidate must be eligible for an Enhanced Reliability Security Clearance. The term will be from May to August.
The Power Engineer- Co-op will be responsible for the following:

• Work under the direct oversight of a Powerhouse Operating Engineer.

• Operates Powerhouse equipment and systems safely to achieve reliability and quality targets.

• Perform maintenance, which includes inspection, testing, service and or repair on Powerhouse equipment and systems to ensure safe and reliable function.

• Maintain good housekeeping practices of all work areas, tools, and equipment.

• Other duties as assigned;

The Power Engineer- Co-op will have the following duties and responsibilities:

• Interpersonal or technical skills, knowledge or abilities required.

• Candidates should have successfully completed the theory component for their 1st year program;

• Candidates must be enrolled in a TSSA approved Power Engineering Program offered at the following colleges.

• Cambrian College, Sudbury

• Lambton College, Sarnia

• Mohawk College, Hamilton

• St. Clair College, Windsor

• Georgian College, Owen Sound

• Conestoga College, Kitchener
