Job Duties:
- Prepare food as required according to recipes and directions from the management team.
- Follow proper hygiene standards and ensure high levels of cleanliness in accordance with Provincial Policies.
- Maintain and ensure a clean workstation and all storage areas. Clean kitchen equipment after use.
- Perform cleaning duties after each shift or as required.
- Assist in setting up the food display counters and replenishing food.
- Maintain and replenish inventory regularly and adopt methods to reduce wastage.
- Ensure all kitchen equipment is properly bussed to the washing point.
- Assist in the cleaning of kitchen equipment as required.
- Assist in loading and unloading of supplies.
- Undertake other jobs assigned by the immediate supervisor as required.
Requirements:
- At least 18 years of age.
- Basic English proficiency.
- Food Safe Level 1 certification
- Flexible/open availability. (one who can work weekends and holidays)
- Must be able to multitask and plan ahead
