Line Cook/Prep

Job Summary:
Q Burger is a busy restaurant that requires a line/prep cook in our kitchen. The position is available as full time position.

You will work in a fun, fast paced environment. You will be responsible for prepping and creating sauces and dips, plating food & cleaning.

We need a skilled, enthusiastic, hardworking, organized, multi-tasker!

Duties:
- Prepare ingredients for cooking, including chopping vegetables, creating sauces
- Assist with cooking and plating dishes according to chef‘s standards
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen area
- Assist with inventory
- Follow proper food handling and safety procedures to adhere to all food industry regulations and guidelines

Experience:
- Previous experience working in a restaurant is preferred
- Knowledge of basic cooking techniques and food preparation methods
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong communication skills and ability to work well within a small team

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: $21.00-$24.00 per hour

Expected hours: 32 per week
