Job Overview:
We are seeking someone with high output kitchen experience to join our team. We have a preset menu of Deluxe Sandwiches & rely on our staff to create Soups Daily for our menu along with some simple prepped items while maintaining basic Kitchen Cleanliness & Operation Standards.
Duties:
- Assemble Sandwiches & prepare fresh Soup while seeving visually appealing meals according to our menu specifications.
- Supervise & train our future kitchen staff in food preparation techniques, portion control, & presentation.
- Maintain inventory levels, temperature checks & order supplies as needed.
- Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations in the kitchen
- Collaborate with management to develop new menu items and features
- Oversee food storage, rotation & proper handling procedures
- Monitor food quality & presentation to ensure consistency
- Manage kitchen operations during peak hours, ensuring smooth workflow & timely service
- Handle customer inquiries, concerns, and special requests in a professional manner
Experience:
- Proven experience as a high output Line Cook or in a similar role
- Strong knowledge of food handling, cooking techniques & kitchen equipment
- Previous experience in supervising kitchen staff or restaurant management is preferred
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
- Proficient in following menus & techniques, while having input on recipe development & cost control
- Knowledge of food service is required
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to guidelines & standards AT ALL TIMES
Must haves:
-Drivers Licence Class 5
-Food Safe Level 1
- A Vehicle to get to & from Remote Work Locations
