RESPONSIBILITIES
- Aid in prep activities such as mise en place
- Assist with overall kitchen activities such as vacuum seal, labelling, packaging etc
- Assist with receiving deliveries and storing inventory
- Organize, wash, polish and maintain dish-ware and equipment in an urgent manner
- Operate standard kitchen equipment safely and properly
- Oversee kitchen sanitation, including pest control and chemical documentation
- Adhere to all sanitation and food production codes
- Aid in opening/closing duties where needed,
- Handles kitchen equipment and dish-ware properly to prevent damage
- 1 year of dishwashing experience in a fast-paced establishment
- 1 year of Prep Cook experience
- Must be available on Saturdays and Sundays (mandatory, non-negotiable)
- FoodSafe level 1 certification required (mandatory, non-negotiable)
- Familiar with kitchen equipment usage
- Attentive to detail and food safety while multitasking
- Strong communication and organization skills
