We are hiring for a Press Operator who will be responsible for facilitating the stamping and production of metal building products through the operation of stamping presses.

Responsibilities

• Daily inspections of press
• Load coil
• Feeding/loading coil
• Die setup
• Preparing labels for boxes
• Producing product using various presses
• Inspection of product
• Packaging product
• Stack boxes onto skids
• Complete production paperwork
• Report press or die issues to maintenance
• General housekeeping of work area
• Other duties as required
• Adhere to health & safety policies and procedures at all times

Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Certifications

• Attention to Detail
• Strong organizational skills
• Willingness to work to meet deadlines
• Ability to work well independently as well as in a team
• Effective communicator with co-workers and all levels of management
• Forklift experience and certification (asset)
• Physical Demands; standing for long periods bending, twisting, heavy lifting 25-30kgs., noise (machinery, punch presses)

Salary: $19.00-$22.00 per hour
