Primary Care Paramedic-Industrial

AMS is currently hiring Primary Care Paramedics to work at a remote industrial site in Northwestern Ontario. The 2 weeks on/2 weeks off FIFO schedule leaves you with ample opportunity to enjoy the finer things in life.

We are looking for people who can commit to this project for a long-term duration.

PCP Job Responsibilities:

• Provide Emergency and Clinical Support while working independently at a remote location
• Administer OTC medications and act as primary health contact on site
• Assist with other duties as required (checking site visitors in/out)
• Document cases as per WSIB guidelines
• Conduct health and safety training (focus on health) as required.
• Document in accordance with client Policy, as required.
• Provide support to the broader healthcare team within the Paramedic Scope of Practice

PCP Job Requirements:

• PCP License(Valid & In good standing)
• HCP CPR Provider or BLS
• WHMIS
• Class F Driver’s License
• Drivers Abstract (In good standing)
• Current Vulnerable Sector Check/Criminal Record Check (within 90 days)
• Current Medical & Immunization Record
