Reporting to the Manager, Product Development, The Product Development Manager is responsible for supporting a variety of initiatives part of a multiyear strategic product investment roadmap in addition to near term product enhancements. As a vital team member, you'll play a pivotal role in the building of business cases and the eventual implementation and rollout of large-scale investments, lounge partnerships, and airline partner benefits.
Key Functions
- Support the Manager, Product Development in the creation of business cases for new product investments, including market research, competitive analysis, financial modeling, and risk assessment.
- Collaborate with a variety of internal stakeholders, such as IT, Commercial Real Estate, Finance, Airport Development & Leasing, Legal, Analytics, Marketing and more to ensure the alignment and execution of the Product Development strategy and roadmap.
- Manage lounge partnership initiatives by project managing all facets of the relationship, such as contract negotiation, integration, launch, and post-launch support.
- Work closely with the airline partnerships team to collaborate on the implementation of airline partner travel benefits, including lounge access and priority services, for our customers and airline partners.
- Manage the handover and transition of projects between Product Development and product operations.
- Monitor and report on the performance and customer feedback of the product portfolio and identify opportunities for improvement and enhancement.
- Manage the creation of internal decks and presentations for the management of approvals and product briefs
- Assisting - in collaboration with other internal and external stakeholders - with the creation of marketing and communications in support of product launches including web and digital integrations.
- Collaborating as a team member in end-to-end project management for all product, amenity, and partner implementations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in Product Development, project management, or a similar role in the travel industry preferred.
- Exposure to partnership development and/or management.
- Familiarity with lounge benefits and airline loyalty programs an asset.
- Strong storytelling and relationship management skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders at all levels.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions and recommendations.
- Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken. French fluency an asset
