What is the opportunity?
You will join the RBC BlueBay Product Development team as a Product Development Manager giving you the opportunity to contribute to the full product life cycle across pooled funds in various structures distributed to clients in EMEA APAC.
Opportunity to join a team of 4 covering a broad range of products allowing to continuously learn and grow throughout your career. This role allows for direct contact with various teams throughout the organization including investment and sales teams as well as the infrastructure teams which are key to successful execution of various product initiatives.
What will you do?
- Lead and manage fund launches and product alterations across multiple jurisdictions (Luxembourg, Ireland and Cayman Islands) and vehicle types (UCITS & AIFs);
- Scoping of product including product design, commercial viability and operational feasibility;
- Produce fund documentation including fund prospectus and other related fund documents in conjunction with external counsel and internal teams as appropriate;
- Project management of the entire product launch process and ensure the product governance process is followed by actively participating in the various approval steps;
- Ensure all regulatory considerations are considered including, but not limited to, ESG regulations, Volcker rule, and any other regulations that may affect the product design;
- Contribute to ad-hoc research projects on potential new fund structures and new fund domiciles to expand current product offering
What do you need to succeed?
Must-have
- Solid experience working in a similar role with direct involvement in the managing of a product range across domiciles and fund structures;
- Strong understanding of equities, fixed income and alternatives as asset classes.
- Technical knowledge of UCITS/AIFs and an interest in understanding implications of new regulations;
- Ability to handle multiple projects to tight timelines;
- Detailed oriented, strong organizational skills;
- Intellectually curious, self-motivated
Nice-to-have
- Ability to speak French, German, Italian or Spanish;
- CFA Charterholder
