Product Training Specialist

Job Summary

Your employment duties as a Product Training Specialist will consist of the duties listed below as well as other duties as required by the Company. This list is not to be taken as fixed or exhaustive however, as you will be expected to perform any reasonable employment task given by a leader.

As a Product Training Specialist your goal is to become the subject matter expert for Timeless Medical products as well as the tools that we use internally to run the business. You will develop job aids, training videos and provide training to both internal and external clients. You will either travel to client sites and provide frontline training on workflow and program functionality to end users or the training will be done remotely.

You will also help guide the strategic direction of the training team in that you will help the Training Manager to identify specific needs such that we continue to improve and develop world class training for both our internal and external customers. Once needs are identified you will help develop supporting assets to fill those needs.

Job Duties

• Become the subject matter expert regarding company products such that you are the go-to resource for team members.
• Demonstrate product usage and promote new workflows to client end users.
• Provide feedback to the product development team with regards to feature requests, enhancements and changes.
• Work consultatively with the Project Managers and the clients to develop workflow specific training plans that meet their specific needs.
• Design and create training and enablement assets for internal and external clients.
• Conduct onsite and remote training that ensures successful adoption of company products.
• Collaborate with product specialists to review the effectiveness and efficiency of product processes.
• Verify functionality of company products to ensure functionality meets the end user requirements.
• Provide consultative and technical support to the executive team and other strategic decision-making groups.
• Ensure quality of product through requirements gathering and testing to ensure developer updates meet the business needs.
• Identify opportunities and validate new features as well as analyze feedback on features during training sessions.

Job Requirements

• Related training experience.
• Education or experience in the Information Technology Industry
• Education or experience in the Medical Sciences Industry preferred
• Superior communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Understanding of adult learning principles
• High flexibility with strong interpersonal skills that allow one to work effectively in a diverse environment
• High level of integrity and work ethic
• Demonstrated time management skills
• Demonstrated aptitude for learning new technologies
• Knowledge of standard training and development software (Adobe Captivate, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MS Teams, Google Suite)

Work Conditions

• Extended periods of sitting
• Operation of desktop computer and peripherals
• Flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
• Working in a busy office environment with frequent interruptions
• Occasional travel; ability to travel to US and other
