Norwood Sawmills is a global leader in portable sawmills and is looking for an energetic, motivated Production Associate to join the team! Reporting to the Warehouse Manager, you will contribute to the Production Team with accurately packaging sawmill parts, minimizing the risk for damage, and continuously creating a fun, organize, and safe workspace.
What you bring to the team:
- 2+ years of experience in a manufacturing, assembly, or production role.
- You have a keen eye for detail... even while performing repetitive work.
- Excellent communication skills and thrive in a collaborative environment.
- Capability to stand, bend, lift, and execute repetitive tasks through the workday.
- You enjoy committing to producing the highest quality of work.

A typical day for a Production Associate:
- Efficiently and accurately package parts for Norwood and Frontier Sawmills.
- Consistently ensure the correct parts, and quantity of parts, are packaged per documentation/standards provided.
- Contribute to achieving production targets while maintaining product quality and consistency.
- Perform correct packaging practices to eliminate damage to products.
- Assist with warehouse organization and consolidate parts to ensure optimum use of bins and racking when necessary.
- Work in a safe manner consistently being mindful of safety owed to yourself and others.
- Look for ways to improve our day-to-day processes and communicate ideas.
- Maintain safe practices to reduce damage to the packaging and in accordance with our specifications.
