SalaryRossdown Natural Foods is a rapidly expanding business which hosts a family friendly environment and reliable hours with many new job opportunities. At Rossdown, we currently are seeking out a Janitorial Worker for the Poultry Production Plant for morning and afternoon shifts.
The position is responsible to organize and ensure the accurate and timely flow of product through the production area, help manage a small team of 6-10 employees.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Plan, oversee and participate in the facilities operations and activities.
- Performs duties alongside employees maintaining GMP Policies and Daily production quotas.
- Assist in the training of new employees and maintaining cross-training of existing employees to ensure adequate coverage of all departments.
- Prepare and submit daily shift reports and receiving documents.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Requirements:
- 1+ year of experience in a warehouse or plant supervisory role
- Mechanically inclined and able to work with machinery and forklift operation would be an asset.
- Must be self-directed, able to provide guidance to work team, work well under pressure
- Must not be afraid to take disciplinary action.
- Demonstrates appropriate decision making, critical thinking, and time management skills.
- Exhibit the ability to distinguish between various recyclable materials.
- Able to lift 25lbs.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Strong understanding of production processes.
- Strong coordination and planning skills, able to coach and train effectively.
- Fluent in English with strong written and verbal communication skills.
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $19.00-$21.55 per hour
