Duties include: Pellet Mill operation, Mixing, Shipping and receiving, packaging, and processing of livestock feeds, documentation of production and completion of HACCP records.
Experience/Requirements:
- Previous feed mill, or agricultural experience
- 1 to 2 years manufacturing is an asset, willing to train the right candidate
- Able to work day/afternoon/nights shift rotation Mon - Fri. Days: 7am-3pm Afternoons: 3pm-11pm Nights 11pm-7am
- Experience mixing grain and feed products with accuracy and attention
- Ability to operate heavy equipment
- Forklift experience
- A proven track record of reliability and safe work habits
- Physically capable of lifting 25kg repeatedly
- Mechanical aptitude
- Able to work at elevated heights, as required
- Train under the guidance of the shift supervisor / lead hand
- Shipping and receiving, packaging, cleanup, documentation of production and completion of HACCP records
- Reliable transportation
- Safety compliance is of utmost importance and all applicants must have a steadfast commitment to plant safety at their location
- HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point) training is required, HACCP training will be provided by the company annually
