Location: Windsor, Ontario
Schedule: Full Time/3rd shift (midnight)
Compensation: $65k-$70k
Objective:
Working closely with the shift supervisor to help manage the floor. Play a crucial role in overseeing the manufacturing processes, particularly focusing on injection molding. - Injection Molding Expertise: Utilize your extensive knowledge of injection molding processes to optimize production efficiency and product quality.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to injection molding to minimize downtime and maintain production schedules.
- Employee Engagement: Foster a positive and collaborative work environment by engaging with team members and providing hands-on leadership.
- Performance Management: Manage and lead a diverse team, providing guidance, feedback, and support to enhance individual and collective performance.
- Implement performance metrics to track and improve team efficiency.
- Safety and Compliance: Prioritize and enforce safety protocols to maintain a secure working environment.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations, company policies, and quality standards.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in a supervisory role within the automotive manufacturing industry.
- In-depth knowledge of injection molding processes.
- Strong understanding of union dynamics and experience in managing within a unionized environment.
- Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Results-oriented mindset with a focus on continuous improvement.
